Birthday Party Magic Show with Balloons
Give your child a unique, unforgetable experience that will stay
with them forever; or at least until their next birthday.
It Must Be Magic offers a very innovative and interactive
magic show for birthday parties. Unlike the typical magician,
our show offers all the members of the audience to become
involved with the show. From waving a magic wand to making
a skunk appear, the show grasps the attention of children and adults alike. The birthday child will become
the star of the show outfitted in their magic hat and wand (if requested) as they assist the magician
in several tricks. No need for goodie bags! After the show each child and/or adult recieves a balloon
from a list of 25 different creations. The creations range from Spiderman to Aliens to the Little Mermaid.
These balloons are not your average “dog” shape.
Birthday Party Magic Show

Unlike the typical magician, our show offers all the members of the audience to become involved with
the show. From waving a magic wand to making a skunk appear, the show grasps the attention of children
and adults alike. The birthday child will become the star of the show outfitted in their magic hat and
wand (if requested) as they assist the magician in several tricks. Upon request, “How to Twist a Balloon”
brochures and “Magician” coloring sheets are available.
Stand Up Show
Give the audience of your next event an
unforgetable experience! It Must Be Magic offers
a stand up show that fits any age group of audience
up to 300 people.
Just a few of the tricks performed within the show:
*Appearing Bowling Ball- An empty paper bag is shown and shook above the magician’s head.
Suddenly a 14 pound bowling ball drops and smashes to the ground in a loud thud. The audience is even allowed to examine the bowling ball.
*Straightjacket Escape- The magician begins by informing the audience of Harry Houdini and the history of the
straightjacket. Members of the audience are invited on stage for a brief examination of the straightjacket. The
magician is then strapped into the jacket and begins a vigorious three minute escape. The trick is performed in
the same style as Harry Houdini himself performed the feat.
*Mental Epic- The magician displays a chalkboard that has been divided into 6 different sections. He explains to
the audience he is going to attempt to read the minds of three volunteers. One at a time each volunteer is asked to think of something at random as the magician writes his predictions on the board. One by one the predictions are revealed to show exact matches to what the volunteers were thinking.
Our show has been featured on KSDK’s program “Show Me Saint Louis” and has been presented to many different corporations and schools.
*Don’t forget to mention the general age group of your audience when booking the Stand Up Show. Every single perfomance is different and customized to be appropriate for the age group.
Close Up/Strolling Show
Holding an event where the attendees won’t be sitting down? A strolling show is exactly what you are looking
for. With strolling, perhaps to every other style of performing, the magician walks around and entertains
small groups of people in an intimate close-up setting. Everything the magician performs fits in his/her pockets.
Therefore, your audience will engage in many card, coin, rope, and small prop tricks. This style of performing fits best in coporate gatherings, carnivals, and events where there are more than 300 people in attendance. It allows everyone a chance to see close-up sleight of hand and conjuring. Many claim there is nothing more impressive than close-up magic because the magic happens before your very eyes.
Stage Show
Our stage performances are a rather new performance style we offer. Combining the tricks
used in the common stand up show and a few illusions the stage show fits a variety of audiences.
Some of the tricks performed in the stage show that are not available in the standup show include:
*Metamorphisis- The World’s Fastest Change between two people. A wooden trunk is brought onto stage. The magician and his assistant open the box to show the inside as being empty. The magician is then handcuffed and placed into the box. The box is then closed and locked with the help of the assistant. A large curtain is then placed around the box. The assistant stand on the top of the box and raises the curtain. Suddenly, the assistant throws the curtain into the air and as it comes tumbling down the magician is now standing on top of the box. The box is then unlocked and opened to reveal the assistant handcuffed in the box.
*Spike it- Four wooden coasters are brought onto stage and shown to the audience; one of which has a 4 inch
steel spike petruding from the center of it. All coasters are examined by volunteers and then placed onto a table. The magician then brings out four styrofoam cups and turns his back. The volunteers are instructed to place the cups over each coaster and then to mix the coasters up resulting in four mixed coasters covered with the cups. The magician then turns around, concentrates, and begins to smash his hand down on the cups one at a time. If performed correctly the magician then smashed all the cups except for the one with the spike underneath it.
*Caution- This trick is extremely dangerous and will not be performed for audiences under 18 years of age*
Birthday Party Balloon Show
Why hire a clown who twists dogs and swords and even uses a balloon pump to blow up balloons, when you
can have a traditional balloon twister with up-to-date balloons? That’s a rhetorical question for a reason. With
our traditional balloon twisters you will be amazed by the innovative, creative creations.
Here is a short list of some of the balloons we do:
With a birthday party balloon show each guest will recieve a balloon depending on time alloted for event.
Shows are booked with hour increments. In the birthday party balloon show setting, guests are welcome to stay and watch the balloonist twist the creations or come and go as they please. Keep in mind our chart below which is the recommended time to book depending on the amount of guests. Please keep in mind the more time allotted for events allows the balloonist to create bigger and more intricate sculptures.
